PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, a semi-truck driver collided with a man at S 67th Ave and W Buckeye Rd on Wednesday.
Bystanders reported to authorities that a man was lying on the road with severe injuries around 5:45 a.m.
Rescue crews transported the man to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities believe a semi-truck driver hit the victim. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
Crews shut down the eastbound and westbound lanes to investigate the incident. The southbound lanes remained open for traffic.
