PHOENIX, AZ – According to CBS 5, a male driver died following a single-vehicle crash near 83rd Ave and W Palm Ln on Saturday.
The driver slammed into a tree around 8:30 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced the driver dead at the scene and transported a child from the vehicle to an area hospital as a precaution.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
