PEORIA, AZ – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after hitting a donkey on EB Loop 303 just west of Lake Pleasant Pkwy on Monday morning.
AZ Family reports the accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital for serious injuries.
It is unclear why the donkey was on the highway and how it got there. The donkey was killed in the crash.
