News: Woman, 92, killed in T-bone crash with tow truck in North Phoenix 

NORTH PHOENIX, AZ – A 92-year-old woman was killed in a T-bone crash involving a tow truck that happened in North Phoenix on Saturday.

The two-vehicle collision happened around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of West Northern Avenue & North 7th Avenue, according to KTAR. Phoenix police suspect the woman had failed to yield to a left-turning tow truck, which resulted in the T-bone crash.

The elderly woman died from her injuries a short time later. She has since been identified as Carolyn Pain.

The three tow truck occupants, the adult male tow truck driver, a baby, and a teenager were unharmed.

Police do believe impairment was a contributing factor in this deadly collision.
