News Update: Phoenix PD IDs pedestrian killed in crash on Buckeye Rd. 

PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix police confirmed that it was a 50-year-old man who was killed in a pedestrian crash on Buckeye Road that happened Tuesday.

New details from AZ Family revealed that it was 50-year-old Cesar Martinez-Delgadillo who was struck by a vehicle on Buckeye Road near 35th Avenue after midnight.

Updates also reveal that Martinez-Delgadillo had likely walked outside of a crosswalk when he was hit.

Fire and EMS crews were dispatched to the scene and attempted CPR on Martinez-Delgadillo. However, despite their best efforts, he died from his injuries.

At this time, police do not suspect the driver was impaired. Officers are continuing to investigate the details behind the collision.
