PHOENIX, AZ – A male pedestrian was killed when he was struck by a driver near Phoenix Country Club Tuesday, AZFamily reports.
The collision took place at the intersection of 18th Street and Osborn Road and warranted a response from police, fire crews, and EMS personnel.
Upon arrival, first responders transported the male pedestrian to a hospital, where he later lost his life. He has since been identified as 34-year-old Nicholas Chris Davidson.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Police do not suspect the driver was impaired while operating a vehicle.
